My First Web Site

I remember when I made my first web site couple years ago, I made a lot of mistakes which ended up with disappearing my web site by it self. The free web site was actually good and eye catcher, it was very colorful and a lot of animation, snippet, counter, clock etc. But after several months my web site was suddenly disappear (may be because it was free) but mainly because no traffic went to the site.

Why it was happened?

In my opinion, some mistakes that I have made for my first website:

1. My web site did not have a goal, target and specific keyword (Niche), it was just only a tool for introduce my self in internet.
2. Secondly, who will visit my website? No body visited it! , because it could not give something useful to the visitors.
3. Thirdly, my website didn’t make any money. One of Internet marketer expert Richard Tan has said A successful web site – web site that can make money, if not make money - waste of your time!!

Recently, the progress of the Web technology is running very fast and a lot of tools for making money in internet. That’s why I learned Internet Marketing from a lot of book and e-book, visited some seminar and course, online course, join some Internet marketing forums and I found a tremendous information that sometimes make me lost in the jungle of Internet marketing technology. With my background of engineering, I have tried to formulate what I have learned and practiced to of some guidance in some simple ways and only put the essential only so it can easily to be practiced in real internet marketing world and the important things the web site can make money.
